The Anansi’s Web playset opens—the first new playset in 21 years! The playset is based on the West African folktales of Anansi the spider, the keeper of all stories and wisdom. The play structure was designed, created, and installed by artist Garr Ugalde. The new playset was made possible thanks to a generous grant of $100,000 from the Sacramento Metropolitan Arts Commission and many individual donors.
