Join us each week for guided sensory play, a sensory-friendly Circle Time*, and an animal introduction. *Lessons are informed by sensory processing and self regulation best practices. 

Thursday 12 pm – 1 pm!

$11 per session for members*
$16 per session for non-members

*Registration covers the class and park admission for one child and one parent or caregiver.

9/7It’s mine!Join us for Leo Lionni’s classic about frogs who learn the importance of working together. We’ll have Circle Time, an art project, and a visit from an animal who knows how to work well in a group.
9/14Sometimes it’s hard to be niceJoin us for Maggie Rudd’s book of tough situations you will recognize from daily life. We’ll have Circle Time, an art project, and go visit some of our animals who know how hard it is to be nice.
9/21Chin up ChinchillaJoin us for Beth Stafford’s debut book about giving empathy to your friends. We’ll have Circle Time, an art project, and a visit from a real chinchilla.
9/28Spots, Feathers, & Curly TailsJoin us for Nancy Tafuri’s guess who book featuring some of the same animals who reside at Fairytale Town! We’ll have Circle Time, an art project, and a visit from a fun farm friend.

10/05Monkey & meJoin us for Emily Gravett’s sing-songy book to see where a zoo day takes Monkey & Me. We’ll have Circle Time, an art project, and go on our own adventure around Fairytale Town.
10/12Big Fat HenJoin us for Keith Becker’s take on the classic nursery rhyme. We’ll have Circle Time, an art project, and a visit from a big fat hen!
10/19The BatJoin us to read about one of Elise Gravel’s “Disgusting Creatures” (spoiler alert: Bats aren’t so disgusting!). We’ll have Circle Time, an art project, and a visit from another mammal that gets a bad wrap.
