All The World is a Stage at Fairytale Town.

In addition to being one of Sacramento’s most popular outdoor playtime destinations, Fairytale Town is also a favorite live performance venue for all ages–twice voted the Best Venue for Family Entertainment in the region. Our two performing arts stages feature live theatre, special events, musical concerts, puppet shows, and a whole lot more!

The Children’s Theater

Our indoor Children’s Theater plays host to the Annual Puppet Festival every Spring, as well as a variety of productions for children and families throughout the year. One of the few indoor spaces in the park, the Children’s Theater is also used for many of our summer FunCamps and educational programs, as well as being the primary rehearsal and performance venue for the Fairytale Town Troupers.

The Mering Family Mother Goose Stage

The outdoor Mother Goose Stage provides a creative space for visiting children to dance or perform whatever they can imagine. It’s also serves as Fairytale Town’s main stage for concerts, live theatre, movie nights, and storytelling, as well as all the educational festivals and celebrations that take place during a typical year. Available for after-hours rentals, the Mother Goose Stage has also been used for weddings, dances and fundraisers.
