DESCRIPTION:NorCal School of Arts presents The Wizard of Oz in the Children’s Theater. \n“Join Dorothy and her loyal companion Toto as they “Follow the Yellow Brick Road” through the Land of Oz\, determined to reach the Emerald City\, where the great and powerful Wizard of Oz will help them get home. Of course\, along the way\, Dorothy encounters witches (both good and bad)\, Munchkins\, talking trees and winged monkeys. We’ll have crafts\, story time inside the Story Center\, and a performance at 1PM on Mother Goose Stage by Jade Rabbit Dragon and Lion Dance. \n\nThe Lunar New Year Celebration is free with paid park admission. Weekend admission is $10 for adults and children ages 2 and older. Members and children ages 1 and under are free. \nPlease note: \n\nAdults must be accompanied by children and children must be accompanied by adults in order to gain admittance to the park.\nFairytale Town closes when it rains heavily. I also have great memories of giant bear mascots at Cal football games and our family’s tradition of saying thank you to nature every fall for making room for new growth. All these things inspired me to create my new book ‘Georgina’ that talks to kids about change being everywhere and change being a constant in life. It is my first coloring book because I think coloring is so relaxing and fun. But ‘Georgina’ is also a sweet story about friendship\, changing seasons\, and traveling around the world.
