Annual Puppet Festival
Wednesdays – Sundays, May 1 – June 29, 2008
Weekday show times: 10:30 a.m., 11:30 a.m. & 12:30 p.m.
Weekend show times: 12:30 p.m., 1:30 p.m. & 2:30 p.m.

Fairytale Town’s Puppet Festival is back, and with hilarious new shows! The Children’s Theater will host these interactive and lively shows, and will also provide a cool break from outside playtime in the Sacramento heat! All shows are performed by Puppet Art Theater. For more information about Puppet Art Theater, please visit puppetarts.com.

Boy Who Cried Wolf - May 28-June 8

Hansel and Gretel - June 25-June 29

Tickets for these shows are $2 for nonmembers and $1 for Fairytale Town members in addition to the cost of park admission. Children 2 and under are Free.

Fairytale Town Family Camp Out
Saturday, June 7 – Sunday, June 8, 2008, 5:30 p.m. – 7 a.m.
Register for this camp out beginning May 1, 2008 at the Fairytale Town box office or by calling Sharlene Lal at (916) 264-7979. Join us for a memorable night under the stars! Sacramento area families can camp out at Fairytale Town. Camp out fees are $30 for Adults (ages 12 and older) and $25 for children (ages 3-12), children 2 and under are free. Members receive a $5 discount for each adult and child. Included in your camp out is a puppet show by Puppet Art Theater, evening snack, storytime and sing-a-longs, playtime with arts and crafts and a light morning breakfast. Space is limited, so please reserve your spot early.

Crystal Midsummer Night's Dream & Ice Cream Fantasy (special ticketed event)
Saturday, June 21, 2008, 6-9 p.m.
Enjoy an enchanted evening at Crystal’s Midsummer Night’s Dream & Ice Cream Fantasy, Fairytale Town’s annual fundraising event. This event is an ice cream social and fairy festival, featuring all you can eat Crystal ice cream, Shakespearean performances, delectable food, refreshing beverages, fairy-filled arts and craft activities and an Olde World Market where vendors will sell their unique wares and specialty items. All ages are welcome to this grand affair and Shakespearean and fairytale costumes are encouraged. Princess Linda will be doing face painting and Fairytale Town staff will be happy to help you make your own candle. And of course, the ice cream is all you can eat!

Please note: Fairytale Town will be closing early this day in preparation for the event. Gates will close at 2 p.m. and the park will close at 3 p.m.
