Workshops

Our garden and barnyard workshops support a variety of lessons in Physical and Life Sciences. Fundamental concepts are covered in each workshop such as: similarities and differences in the appearance and behavior of plants and animals and how to identify major structures of plants and animals.

These workshops were specifically designed for Pre-K to 4th grade students, they also support hand-eye coordination, lessons in: nutrition, conservation, language acquisition and animal husbandry. Each workshop comes complete with a take-away teacher's guide filled with crafts, activities and further resources that can be utilized to reinforce the lessons taught during the visit.

Two weeks advanced reservations is required to qualify your group for the discounted rates and guarantee Fairytale Town entrance.

Please Note: If you would like to schedule more than one workshop, please call our reservation specialist, Michelle Gardner at (916) 808-8814.
