Very Special Arts Day – Saturday, July 14

This program features performances, visual art shows, and art Funshops! Hosted by Fairytale Town and sponsored by I Can Do That!, Very Special Arts Day will bring together children of all abilities—those with disabilities and those without—to interact through, create, and enjoy the Arts.
The highlight of Very Special Arts Day will be performances by ACT ON!—a children’s Theatre Camp (project of VSA arts and Fairytale Town). Visual arts creations by Very Special Arts students in the Very Special Arts/I Can Do THAT! program will also be on display. Several Funshops (hands-on workshops in the Arts) will also be offered—including hands of wisdom, flying saucers, rhumba shakers, pipe cleaner jewelry, and spiral mobiles.
