Fall FunCamps

Looking for a fun and educational experience during the fall break from school? Fairytale Town offers 6 exciting and educational one-day camps during the first part of Thanksgiving week!

Morning sessions from 10 AM to 1 PM are offered for children ages 4 – 6 and ages 7 – 9. Each one-day camp features a unique theme, including visual art, animals, world holidays, and more. Choose from one, two, or all three days!

An Afternoon Adventures session from 1 to 4 PM can be added to a morning session to create a full-day camp experience. Afternoon Adventures are offered for ages 4 – 9 and feature a supervised lunch and recess time followed by more curriculum-based, open-ended activities, dramatic play, story time and more.

Please note: Children must be pre-registered for FunCamps in order to attend; registrations are not available the first day of camp. All Fairytale Town FunCamp registrations are taken online only. We encourage you to find a camp designed for your child’s age. Unfortunately we are unable to make exceptions regarding age groups.

2017 Fall FunCamp Schedule

Morning Sessions for Ages 4 – 6

Innovation Station: November 20
10 AM – 1 PM
Campers will let their imaginations run wild while being introduced to a variety of basic S.T.E.M. (science, technology, engineering, and math) projects and activities. Learn how to make predictions and draw conclusions from  different types of science experiments, allowing their imagination and innovation to run wild!

Color Pop: November 21
10 AM – 1 PM
Young artists will be introduced to the wonderful world of color! Campers will learn basic concepts, including primary and secondary colors and more during a day of painting, drawing, and creating crafts to showcase their art skills.

Camp Jolly: November 22
10 AM – 1 PM
Santa Claus is comin’ to Town! With the holidays just around the corner, this camp will allow campers to prepare to spread holiday cheer. Campers will be cutting, drawing, painting, and creating fun decorations and crafts to get into the spirit of the season.

Morning Sessions for Ages 7 – 9

Bugs, Bugs, and More Bugs: November 20
10 AM – 1 PM
Campers will dive into the world of arthropods! Meet and learn about some different species of bugs that we have at Fairytale Town. Learn all about the different classifications, how bugs survive, and what the world looks like from their eyes. Please Note: Campers will have direct contact with Fairytale Town’s arthropods; some children may be allergic to tarantula hair, bees and/or other bugs.

Reptile Roundup: November 21
10 AM – 1 PM
Meet our scaly cold-blooded friends while we explore the world of reptiles. Learn all about what they eat, how they move, how they protect themselves in the wild, and what separates them from other animals.

Barnyard Buds: November 22
10 AM – 1 PM
Campers will be introduced to our flock of farm animals, most of which are rare or miniature breeds. Learn about life on a farm, why the animals at Fairytale Town are considered rare, what they like to eat, and what products come from these animals. Please note: Campers will have direct contact with Fairytale Town animals and animal feed. Some children may be allergic to the natural oils found in animal fur/hair and feed.

Afternoon Adventures for Ages 4 – 9

November 20, 21 & 22
1 – 4 PM
Ages 4-9
Keep the fun going all day long by enrolling in Afternoon Adventures! After the morning session, students will enjoy a supervised lunch and recess time followed by more hands-on activities, dramatic play, story time and more! The open-ended activities ignite imagination and creative thinking. Curriculum-based activities and themes vary each week, so campers can enroll in multiple weeks. Please note: Campers need to bring their own lunches or pre-purchase meal-deals from the Dish & Spoon Café. Also note that Afternoon Adventures will have children ages 4-9 years old together. Camper must be enrolled in a Morning Session to enroll in Afternoon Adventures.
