The Sacramento Philharmonic & Opera’s Brass Quintet takes to the Mother Goose Stage for a fun evening concert for all ages!

Adventure with the Sacramento Philharmonic & Opera’s Brass Quintet as they take you on a sonic journey through a musical brass landscape under the stars! The Brass Quintet will present a wide range of styles and popular favorites, including classics of Mozart, Gershwin and Bernstein; medleys from the Silver Screen and Broadway; and the swaying Blues, Samba, and Jazz styles of W.C. Handy, Jobim, and others.

It will be a grand performance showcasing the fun personalities and versatility of the SP&O musicians. Also discover “new treasures” through a hands-on experience in the SP&O’s Instrument Discovery Zone.

Pick up dinner or snacks from the Dish & Spoon Cafe or Flavor Face food truck. Beer, wine, and spirits will also be available for purchase.

  • This concert is all-ages, and adults may attend without children.
  • This is a special ticketed event and fundraiser for Fairytale Town. Tickets will go on sale June 1. Proceeds support Fairytale Town’s education programs and park improvements.
  • No outside food or drink.
  • Concert seating is open and first come, first served.
  • Blankets and chairs are welcome.
  • Smoking is not permitted inside of Fairytale Town.
  • No refunds or exchanges for concert tickets.

Children (2-12yrs.): Free
Children 1 and under: Free
Fairytale Town members receive $3 off per adult ticket, and member children are free.

Day-of Tickets (July 18):
Adults General Admission: $15
Children (2-12yrs.): $5
Children 1 and under: Free
No member discount
